Description: Traditionally known as a favourite chouchou of little ones, our size L bean husk pillows are suitable for both younger and older children, or grown ups who need a snuggle buddy.
Multi purpose: comforter, pillow, bolster, best friend.
Each set comes packed in a reusable drawstring bag that you can re-reuse to pack spare clothes, diapers, wipes, toys for school or fun days out:
1x barrier cover filled with bean husk Made from a tightly woven cotton fabric which protects the bean husk filling against mould and dust mites. Our barrier covers come with a zipper so you can remove the bean husks to sun them, refill with more bean husks and wash the cover if required.
2x muslin pillow cases (1 rainbow on oatmeal and 1 seafoam grey OR 1 mustard yellow polka dots and 1 oatmeal) Because we always need a spare when one is washing. Our pillow cases are breathable, wonderfully soft and gentle on skin.
Size (L): 45 x 24cm. Our L bean husk pillow weighs approximately 500g with the muslin pillow case on. This size is great as a pillow or bolster for little ones. My little one takes it to preschool for nap times.
Ethically and sustainably made in a Fair Trade and GOTS Certified factory, that is 100% solar powered.
What is muslin: Muslin is a finely-woven breathable gauze fabric that can be made from cotton, bamboo or a mix of the two. We use only 100% organic cotton for our muslin. You will notice some crinkles in the material, this is normal and due to the delicate weave of the fabric.
About our muslin: Not all muslin are created equal. The muslin that our factory uses is of a high yarn count for extra softness, and woven from 100% Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS) certified organic cotton. This means that you can be assured the muslin we use adheres to globally-recognised standards for textile production - from harvesting of the raw materials, all the way through to employing environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing processes.
In addition, no formaldehyde is used in our prints and dyes, so you don't ever have to worry about baby snuggling up to our products.
